Tzu Chi Northern California’s annual charity fundraising concert was held on October 27 at the Fox Theater in Redwood City

Pan Yueman is set to take the stage at the Tzu Chi Northern California Annual Charity Fundraising Concert, scheduled for October 27 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City. The community is warmly invited to join this musical feast and contribute donations to help us create a melody of love, bringing brighter hope to families in need within Northern California.

Every contribution is a powerful support for the community, enabling Tzu Chi volunteers to carry your love step by step, year after year, into every corner that needs assistance. These donations help support underprivileged families, provide emergency aid to disaster victims, organize medical service activities, and promote educational initiatives. In a chaotic world, these efforts soothe troubled souls and offer timely greetings at disaster sites.

In response to the devastating wildfires across California and Hurricane Helen wreaking havoc in Florida and nearby states, Tzu Chi volunteers are actively assessing and providing relief. The aftermath of Hurricane Helen, which struck the Southeastern United States, has led to significant damage and loss of life, with at least 250 fatalities reported as of October 4. This makes it one of the deadliest storms on U.S. soil in over half a century. Our volunteers in Florida have already begun assessing damages in the Tampa area.

Your donations will provide vital assistance, including gift cards, blankets, and essential supplies to help disaster victims navigate their current challenges and move toward recovery. Starting today, donations for Hurricane Helen relief will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $1 million by generous supporters—this means every dollar you donate will be doubled in impact.

Looking ahead, Tzu Chi volunteers aspire to continue our mission with your support. Any donation of $500 or more will not only be invested in charitable efforts but also grant you complimentary access to the exciting charity concert.

The renowned artists Pan Yueman and Chi Yu, along with the Bay Area Musician Quartet, will perform at this charity concert. Autumn is a season of harvest, and we eagerly anticipate your generous contributions and joyful participation. Let’s come together in the radiant sounds of fall, singing for love and walking alongside it.

To make a donation, please call 408-457-6964 or send a check made out to the Charity Concert at 2355 Oakland Rd., San Jose, CA 95131. Donations can also be made online at www.TCNW.org.
